Tired of Fibromyalgia Winning

I walk on a treadmill for 30 min a day, 5 days a week, and do some squats. That's all I can handle :( My doc and I have decided to change things up, get off some meds, and go a more natural route. I would LOVE to complete a jog/run 5K at the end of March & need advice on how to achieve that goal using treadmill training only. Thanks for the advice and thanks for having me!!!

Good for you, take control! Download the c25k One You app and just follow it, every other day or even every two days if you need a longer break in between run days.

Be sure to read the how to use faqs. I'll add the link to this response in a minute.

The programme is fantastic and teaches you more than just how to run. I really think you're going to get great benefits from it. 👍😁

Welcome to the forum.

We have had many with fibromyalgia starting to run over the years.

Do check out the guide linked to by GoGo_JoJo it is full of tips.

Keep your pace at the easy conversational pace described and don't worry if you have to repeat runs......... many do.

The result can be better pain control for fibromyalgia sufferers.

Good luck and keep us posted on your progress.
