Shoes, some tights (resisting wearing them forever will be good) some socks, few shirts, maybe the odd pair of shorts. I went really easy on it all 😂

Even footpaths that are under street lights can be dangerous nevermind offroad running.

One of my C25k running group stepped in a hole from a missing wooden post and she nearly fell into the busy road.

I hope she isn't too shaken and is back again soon!

Don’t think so... but having encountered a few rabbit holes in my time I have to say, despite being a vegetarian, rabbit stew is pretty good for you, and I do make it for the daughter... it’s getting harder to source though, no butchers seem to have rabbits hanging like they used to! Yet they sell veal?

In some areas its difficult enough to find a butchers full stop.

I don’t... I support a butcher 13 miles away... my local one is too busy on the radio and at competitions... apparently he’s really good, last time I was in his store I walked back out... wouldn’t have served his steaks to a dog to be honest!

Butcher I go to knows where every piece of meat on his shop came from, how it was treated, what it was fed on, and it shows in the meat... lucky to have him.

My daughter is kitting me out for Christmas 😊 head torch top of the list. She says if I get running stuff from from her for Christmas I will be guilt tripped into carrying on 😂

They're supposed to help your running but I thought running helps your running 😸

Dunno! Since leaving school the only running I did was chasing and kicking a ball ⚽ around a field or 5-a-side 'cage'.

Went on Decathlon and bought my presents of a long sleeved running top and hoodie. Figured these would be more useful than a fitness tracker. Kind of wishing I went for a running jacket now but I do have something similar already that does the job. I was so tempted by a lot of stuff though!

I got a beanie hat with a reflective yarn in the knit. Its surprisingly effective!

Keeps my head and ears warm and reflects driver's lights back at them.

Hmm, now that sounds useful, reflectiveness built in! Good idea. I don't think I have much with reflectors on but as I usually run either around a track or will run soon along pavements with a head light I will hopefully be ok.
