New shoes and gait analysis

Onto week 9 now and it looks like I'm in it for the long haul, the trusty £30 sports direct sale Nike's have done their job and will be taking on light duties of the occasional gym session.

So off to the nearest proper running shop and a trip on the treadmill, well it was about 5 or 6 trips in the end. Transpires that I need a stability shoe and I went through Brooks (ok but not blown away) nike again turns out I'm a half a size smaller in those (how have I got that wrong), another pair of nikes with big pink bits (very tempted) but settled on these because they were the most comfortable and offered good support on the treadmill and running round the shop.

Highly recommend the process I learnt a lot about my feet and got really good advice and tips from a very patient woman who put no pressure on me to buy anything.

Turns out she picked my favourite colour as well.
