Helloo there lovely people. I went out to run this morning, it was a couple of degrees above freezing and just as I was about to start running I noticed the twinkling on the pavement and promptly turned round and walked home to get in my car and head to the gym to do my run. Also, I am planning to sign up for a park run soonish but I am totally put off because my friend has mentioned that part of the run is through a wooded area which is a bit slippy and muddy.
I am totally put off with anything which seems remotely non terra-firma even wet leaves are an issue as in the past I have had suffered with balance issues and I am petrified of falling. My question.........is this something that can be overcome? I am unsure if I am just being sensible or if I am being overly-cautious and it's holding me back with my running.
