W5R1 done - can’t believe it!

Beautiful morning - but set out a bit apprehensively - knew what was in store! I’ve had a few setbacks with C25K - wonky arthritic hip and chest cough meaning weeks of absence at different times. Would I cut it? So set off very very slowly ‘kissing the ground with my feet’ and concentrating on my rhythm and the feel of the ground under foot - and did it! Hard not feel that this is my limit! Can’t imagine how I could do more but trust the programme to take me there. As for now - a large bowl of porridge and honey!

Hello both - just realise my typo: I actually did W5R3 this morning - the full 20 minutes! That’s why I was so chuffed. But onwards and upwards. Thank you very much for your encouraging posts 😊

Epic achievement then late runner!!! You should be over the moon! Such a great run! And my favourite by a long way! Give week 6 a wary glance and approach it with respect: slow and steady. You may find intervals different after today. You’ll smash it though, if you can do week 5r3 you really can do anything 😀🤩🤩🏃‍♀️

Thank you jiggles7 - only just seen your post. I hope what you say is true! Just did W6R3 this morning. Don’t want C25K to end!
