Hi

I haven't posted on here before but always found peoples comments helpful.

I completed c25k 4 weeks ago but now I'm really struggling to keep running for 30 mins which is really frustrating after being able to do it, i think I've just got it in my head that i cant do it everytime i run. Has anyone got any tips on what to do next.

Thank you

You don t have to run for 30 minutes each time. Take the pressure off for a while, mix it up a bit, try interval training, fartleks, find new routes, tackle some hills - whatever you fancy, the world is your oyster.

But most of all, enjoy your running - that's what it's all about!

I assume 30 minutes was comfortable... if so, why do it every time you run? Vary it a little. Extend one run to 35, run a 30, have fun and go run 15 faster than usual. Set a goal, that’s what you had during the programme. Book an event, or circle a parkrun in the calendar to go for a PB and work towards it... start the journey to 10k with ju-ju’s amazing plan... just find what works for you and what fits it your life. And keep it interesting and fun.

Beating C25K proves you can do anything... just decide where you want to go with running and enjoy the journey to it, and celebrate it when you get there.

Park Run is fun.

I had a similar wobble after illness/ injury. I decided to go even slower & just putter along very gently- it felt much better & helped me to regain confidence. It might be worth a try. 😄
