Car had frozen overnight. Tropical 2 As walking the dogs to warm up. Very bright stars no moon, pretty dark.

My husband suggested I take the torch. No thanks could not cope with another thing to make me anxious. Being a middle aged woman is rubbish. I get my self in a tiz about nothing on a daily basis.

Arms and legs very cold but head on fire, what's all that about.

The good news my fastest run ever 37.53

I think I might like this colder weather after all.

Well done from a fellow, hot-headed, middle age woman 😀😀!! Just dropped hubby at the station and having a quick coffee before heading out to conquer W6R3! Have a good day 😀😀

Enjoy the run. I think I might have a bit of running in daylight envy.

Re running before dawn... my target currently is to graduate C25K before the clocks change, which I am currently on target to do, but it's only just occurred to me that the clocks changing will actually result in a few weeks of *lighter* mornings while dawn catches up with the extra hour...

Unfortunately long work hours mean early starts so still likely to be dark. I like weekend runs best.

I think the winter will be the true test of whether I am a proper runner.

I have been running since Feb but still overly anxious and purple sweaty faced.

I do agree though running distances you never thought possible gives you the most amazing buzz.
