W7R1 - with nice fast pace at the end

Hi,

My run had multiple ups and downs. I ran with my god (also known as my dog) who had way more energy than me. We had quite nice route with a lot of nature, but the beginning and the end was on the pavement.

I was dressed quite warm, as some bug is trying to get to me. So I looked funny with cap, buff, think, but long sleeved hoodie, shorts / short leggings, and trainers ;D My trainers got wet inside out too quickly, but after a while it didn't bother me too much.

I happily greeted half the way announcement, even though I didn't feel particularly physically tired. At some point I increased my pace a little, just to eat after about a minute than I have only 1 minute left. So I pick up even faster pace :)

Reached home with wet feet and happy.

It was a good run :)

Happy running!

Get you I haven't even done my first run yet. Leaving France tomorrow and didn't want to ache on the plane so will do it on Thursday now

Well done

Proud of you

Thank you. I mostly did it, thanks to you. Maybe reviewing my calendar also had something to do with it. As on Saturday I plan water fast day, so I don't want to do any intense exercises. Sunday, I will be probably extremely week, so zero exercises.

I will look forward to your Thursday s post.

I was amazed that I had so much power in me. I felt I could run longer. I think it is due to several few seconds breaks to clean after my dog, to clip her lead or to let her run freely. I am not sure if that counts as break in running or just real life running :P

Real life running I’d say! My dog gets a run off the lead before I start, and I make sure she ‘goes’! Only had to stop for her once and I made it into quite a respectable Formula 1 type pit stop! 😅🐕

Mine was like that on Saturday. I was very surprised with her Formula 1 skills. Does your mastered this skill or it depends on the walk/run?

Today, even though she had her time before we started, she still needed both extra free run and additional loo time.

I always let mine run off the lead before and after my run and she tends to do her business then. Somehow she understands that when’s she clipped onto me, it’s run time and I’ve only had one pit stop incident! She’s a natural! 😀

It helps having girls too - way less sniffing! At parkrun there are lots of dogs and I often see the owners pausing to let them sniff, drink from the lake etc. Mine is happy to trot along with me and hardly ever gets distracted. Perfect running buddy! ❤️🐕🏃‍♀️

Indeed, perfect <3 my lady must have strong male side inside her :P she sniffs a lot, mark terrain, drink from any paddle she can get into... But also she is very lady-like in terms of mood changes, as sometimes she is unexpectedly perfect running buddy as well :) the other times it starts to get stressful for both of us, as we obviously want different things :P

I let her run a bit before and after run, but apparently it is not enough for her, but I don't have a good place to do that. Especially that she is not good with sprints and due to her paw shouldn't be doing many of them.

Thank you, not greater than you :) Your runs inspire me and give me boost of motivation to kick my a$$ out the door.

And back it also works, thank you! 👍

I do not know if what I'm doing can be called run.

But I am still trying...

Half of my things probably doesn't look like running. But as long as there is a moment of me not touching ground while moving from one foot to the other, then it falls under definition of running ;)

OK, not the first part of the definition:

"Move at a speed faster than a walk, never having both or all the feet on the ground at the same time." - Oxford Dictionary

:P
