Tail walking at junior park run this morning and it was chucking it down. I was gonna get wet, which I don’t mind, but getting wet and not moving much isn’t something I enjoy. So I have a run to do today and the kids have to run, and I remember that some guys here can jog slower than brisk walking, and I decide to give it a go... slowly round lap one and I’m still running behind a kid who’s walking... of course said kid decides lap two is not for them and so I get to open up a little and catch up to the next one... slowly round the rest of the lap, off comes my high vis and lanyard, hand them in and run on for the rest of 30 minutes, which wasn’t long at all. So I learned a new skill and had a great time on this run... time to dry off.

They are... not had two the same yet... I just couldn’t be bothered getting wet, drying off and going out again to get wet later... love the rain, but I also love drying off and staying dry after!
I was drenched yesterday during my run, spent the whole time wiping my nose and eyebrows!!!

😂 I sometimes do this!! Before I 'ran" I used to think it was a bit odd!!
Yeah, but it helps keep the rhythm so it kind of comes naturally (I think) 😸
Yeah and sometimes just know will be harder to start..if stop!
How are you getting on with Bridge to 10k?
Mm....I've not been out since Monday (that was my 6k) having a few extra days off due to tight calf. Thankfully feeling better now. Today I might do the shorter run of week 2... So I'm not that far into really. I need to get back in the groove! Thanks. How about you?
