Wow! This is the third time I've attempted C25K. The first was another app and the last two times were through the NHS app. I got so close last time - I just didn't complete the final run of Week 9 due to my dog presenting me with a litter of puppies and life got very busy.
So last night, at a slow and steady pace I completed my graduation run. This time the whole programme has gone very well. I missed a week due to having a minor op so it took 10 weeks instead of 9. I only bailed one run (pesky week 6). What has helped me most has been reading all the information, advice and motivational posts on here. This forum is fab. You are never running alone even if you are running by yourself. Thank you to each and every one of you.
I nearly cried last night when the graduate icon came up at the end of the run - but having just replied to someone else's post on here and seeing 'graduate' next to my name on the post, is unbelievably awesome. After seeing that, I'm going to be on a high for the rest of the day.
