Pouring down this morning but didn't put us off. Yogi dog ran through every puddle available whilst I ran around them, but he is a chocolate lab so expected behaviour. Such a buzz by the end.

Yogi dog loves running through puddles and you love running. Fantastic that you have completed the second 28 minute run of week 8, only 4 runs to go now until you and Yogi 🐶 dog graduate😊when you will be buzzing much more loudly than you did today😊

Will Yogi get a graduation certificate too?

in reply to ItstheMarchHare

He will get a nice treat from our local pet shop

Of course he will, not sure if the administrators of C25K will give Yogi a graduation certificate but perhaps you could ask them politely to do that, if not give Yogi a extra portion of his favourite dog food.

Well done on your run Lindy and pooch! 🏃‍♀️🐕

So, what did you wear? I’m heading out to parkrun in the promised deluge tomorrow morning (with my buddy too 🐕), and it’s meant to be 8 degrees and bucketing down.

I know it’s an odd question, but I started C25K in mid June, graduated in August and have only run in the wet twice. Once was a light drizzle and once was slightly heavier, but it stopped after a few minutes. I’m a wet weather newbie! 💦🏃‍♀️💦🐕💦

Ooh I’m the same Cheeky! Tricky one isn’t it? Not run in a downpour before, but I bet it’s a great feeling. 😁

I’ve got a very lightweight waterproof jacket and it even has a little hood inside. The rest I’d just wear the same. Maybe even a vest, rather than anything with sleeves as I do get quite hot during the run. The lighter coloured trainers (my faves) would have to stay at home too!! Oh the adventures to come! 😁😋❤️

All us summer C25Kers are in for a shock this weekend I think Fab!! 😳💦

I’m really looking forward to it, although I have a 5 minute walk from where I park, which might not be so enjoyable.

I’m like you though - I get really hot quite quickly so can’t wear long sleeves running. Oh well, trial and error I guess! Will report back (possibly with drowned rat photo!) after the run! 😅😅

Have a great weekend! 😀

5 mins walk is perfect for warm up! We’re definitely the summer running babies!! 😂!! I bet it’s a drowned rat with big big smiles though!! 😁😁 Look forward to the run report! Next run is Sunday for me. 🤗❤️

I actually wore a lightweight waterproof I bought for cycling and it was grand. Wore my Ron hill pants as usual as I'm not a lycra person.

Fantastic Lindy. I imagine running in the rain is actually quite a nice feeling. Just have to dry off well I guess. Well done to you both! 😁😁❤️

Just jumped in shower when got home. It's quite nice running in the rain apart from not wearing specs as can't see well but if wear then can't see either haha

Yogi is obviously a great believer in “when you’re wet you can’t get wetter” which is cool... I may have a splash tomorrow for him!
