Back to the start after 3 months 😁

I’m 2 runs in after having worked my way up to week 8 three months ago. My peroneal tendon(s) decided to crap out on me. They feel all better now so I’m starting again from the very beginning, nice and slow. On the plus side, run 1 was much, much, much easier this time round; at least I’m not starting from complete scratch!

Wish me luck and happy running to all you out here. I’m glad to be back 🎉🎉🎉

Welcome back. Good luck, hopefully you can stay pain free. You know you got this, keep that pace under control when it’s easy. Keep loving it.

Thanks, yeah I’m taking it extra easy :)

I have a similar story with my Achilles - I have made 2 or 3 attempts at running again only to injure it again and had to stop running for months while it healed. Like you I've gone back to the beginning and whatever the temptations to skip ahead will be following the program to the end.

Good luck! My advice: stop at the slightest sign of soreness - "It'll be OK. I'll run it off" doesn't work for tendons.

Yeah the soreness came from one day to the next for me so not much I could do. I’m upping my stretching and taking it real slow :)
