Red light spells danger...

Later start for me today as I waited for the rain to stop and the sun to come out. Tried a new route to try out the PG stamina podcast but I was confronted with a pedestrian crossing first one on my runs! So I did a little dance while on red to the Billy Ocean classic πŸ•ΊπŸ•Ί

The first five minutes were tough today and running up one hill I swear I was going backwards πŸ™„

But the change in pace on the podcast kept me going and I think pushed me when I really needed it so I'll be adding that to my running repertoire!

Good stuff... pretty good pace there... entertaining drivers at the lights is part of urban running! Keep working hard and having fun.

Wasn't convinced I was going to enjoy today but I just kept thinking how amazing I would feel at the end of my run!!! πŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸ˜Š

Tbh if it had been heavy rain I might have struggled to get out today! Thankfully bypassed that challenge for now...🀞🀞

Great song!! I’ve never used these podcasts but may give them a try. Would you recommend? Running up hill does feel like running backward to me sometimes πŸ˜‚. But you’ve gone out there and ran for over 30 mins non stop which is great!! Well done.

Thanks Daveb88 I love to dance to that one! I would recommend trying the stamina one it's structured like the C25K runs but pushes you to up the pace in time to the music. Need to try the speed one next. I do like the structure, something to work towards. πŸ˜ŠπŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸƒβ€β™€οΈ

Yes. I have to agree. Structure can be good. But I also like just going for a run and seeing what happens. Have you well and truly caught the running bug then?

Oh yes and nervous but all registered with ticket printed. I think I'll have to run with blinkers on so I keep to my own pace and not try to keep up with the big boys! 😊

I’m sure you are super fast! I also believe you get a medal for the park run, which is absolutely the best bit!! 😁

Hmm πŸ€”a medal πŸ₯‡would be nice but I don't think at my one you do as it's free and run by volunteers. I'm just hoping for a dry day! 😎 I'm definitely a steady trotter rather than a speedster πŸ˜‚πŸŒ
