First run since graduation

Great to be running again after a week's recovery. Probably could have run yesterday but gave it an extra day. Took it quite steadily and only did 3.66k in 30 minutes but that was enough. Plenty of time to improve on distance and speed over the coming months.

Was that recovery from celebration?

Must have been great to be back out there. Yes, distance and speed will come when you’re ready.

Sadly it wasn't celebration but stupidity on my part! Who would have thought a couple of extra minutes could make such a difference. At the time I felt great but it was only after I'd stopped I went "OUCH". Burning pain in both bum cheeks and one knee so wonky I limped for several days🤕.

Good news is I've recovered and won't be making that mistake again.

A good approach. It’s not a race 😎, at least I’m not racing anyway.
