Next run will be week two run one - so scared!

Hi I've just restarted the program and completed week one yesterday, I definitely saw a gradual improvement. I'm onto week two next and the added run time is freaking me out so prepared to repeat this week maybe.

Determined to graduate and loving running in slightly cooler damper weather as I'm a complete sweaty Betty ๐Ÿคฃ

Hi welcome back to the programme! Great that youโ€™ve completed W1, and that alone means you have the ability to complete W2 and beyond! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

Please donโ€™t feel scared! Your body will have been prepared for its next challenge. The programme is clever that way. Just embrace your inner snail and slow right down if you feel youโ€™re struggling. As slow as you like, just resist walking. ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™€๏ธ๐ŸŒ๐ŸŒ

Youโ€™ve got this. You really have! And weโ€™re here to cheer you on! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

Thanks it's the most I ever enjoyed it and I literally live across the road from a park so no excuses :-)

Hi there and well done! I agree with CheekyChipmunks - take it s๐ŸŒl๐ŸŒo๐ŸŒw๐ŸŒl๐ŸŒy and trust the programme. The work you have done in Week 1 is already changing you, so that your body is ready for week 2, and in my experience this happens all the way along. Certainly for me, the things stopping me from running were in my head not in my legs. Just trust the programme and you can do it.

I might round up some snails from the garden to start a running group ๐Ÿ˜‚

I'm starting week 2 tomorrow

Just gonna take it slow & steady

If I don't manage all the running bits, so what, just do what I can for the duration

Have fun ๐Ÿ‘

Ooh good luck let me know how you find it and I'll do the same on Friday. I'm happy to repeat the week as usually I've given up by now!

Donโ€™t let anyone, even yourself, push you beyond where itโ€™s still fun. Thinking of you x

Scared ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ Of what exactly ? Donโ€™t be! Itโ€™s fun. One foot in front of the other. Itโ€™s not root canal work ๐Ÿ˜. Itโ€™s a walk in the park with a few quicker bits thrown in ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜ƒ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™€๏ธ

Youโ€™ll be fine... thereโ€™s nothing tougher than the first run you did... youโ€™re ready for the next one, relax and trust in the plan.

Just carry on and get out there and do it, and hey, if you can't run the full time walking is fine. Time on your legs is the main thing, just repeat a day where you couldn't run the full time. Go slow, don't get fatigued, don't get injured. You can do it. Good luck!!
