I did it - W1, Run 1 completed! It was as difficult as I had expected, but lots of positives- clothes comfy, foot ware comfy, not too much jiggling about from the body πŸ˜€. A lovely crisp, bright morning. Although I’d read much in preparation, nobody suggested taking a tissue, or am I the only person whose nose runs faster than they do? 🀧 😁

Great job! That’s you crossing that start line, that’s huge. Hardest step to take and the toughest run done βœ…

The runs get longer, but you’ll be ready for them. Enjoy your journey.

I’d like to think that was the toughest run, but I’m not so sure! Thanks for the encouragement though!

Run 1 nearly killed me... ahead of schedule I accidentally ran 9 minutes on Sunday with no issues at all. So I’m finding the runs mid programme a lot easier, and finding out my stamina was better that I thought has boosted me. The jumps in endurance look scary, but they’re not.

Wow! Accidentally running! I hope it goes like that for me too πŸ˜†. Well done you. πŸ‘πŸΌ

LOL, I've got this picture in my mind of your nose detaching itself and running a couple of yards ahead of the rest of you.

Good job for completing the first one. Welcome aboard!

πŸ˜‚ Yes, I think my nose will be at Parkrun before me, in all respects!

Well done for getting underway πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

I get through 2 or 3 tissues each run, and you only forget to take one once. I was advised "No tissue? use your sleeve" well I wear a T-shirt with no sleeves so I tried my wrist but hit myself in the nose with my wristwatch πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ

Good luck and enjoy πŸ˜ƒπŸ˜ƒπŸ˜ƒ

Sorry but this made me chuckle a little after I smacked myself in the nose trying to change songs through my watch 🀣🀣🀣

That was so me this morning - wiping my nose on my arm. I didn’t smack my nose though, as it was running faster than me 🀧

I was proud of myself that I did it, although soaking in a hot, Epsom Salts bath at the moment as I feel I may have repercussions. πŸ˜‰ Thank you for your support, it definitely helped

Kitchen roll’s less likely to self-destruct, I find! I agree that the first one’s the hardest, mentally. The very best of luck with the rest of the week. Enjoy! X

Kitchen roll sounds like a good suggestion. Thanks πŸ‘πŸΌ
