So.... I got to week 8 last summer but then couldn’t continue for some personal reasons. Had a challenging year and only recently rediscovered the motivation to lose weight and get fitter. I started the 5:2 ‘diet’ about 5 weeks ago and have lost about 5kg, reset my account on here to feel like a fresh start, and just done my 3rd run of week 2 😁
Gremlins are still weird - even tho I got to week 8 last time I’m still doubting whether I can do week 3! Just ignoring those thoughts!
Yes, gremlins are strange- I repeat ed the program after illness & found those “I’ll never manage...” thoughts appearing. It’s easier to stamp hard on them when you have done it before. 😄
Congratulations on your weight loss. I hear good things about the 5:2 diet, you just have to be determined and dedicated. It’s clearly working for you and that’s fantastic.
Those nasty little free loading gremlins! Grrrr..... you know that you can do this.
