Week 2 again ...

After a dismal Week 3; a stitch and a bit of a menopausal low, I decided to repeat Week 2 and what a difference, it was easier than the first time with run 3 scheduled for tomorrow. Still working on breathing properly though. My warm up brisk walk is uphill so I have decided to walk a bit slower so I am not out of breath before the run and this worked. Also resisted the urge to stop and pick blackberries!

Good for you. Go slower and you'll storm it. Go and pick blackberries on your rest day. A brisk walk and fresh fruit, win, win.

I could have written this post myself! Just finishedW3R3 but it was tough, don't feel confident enough for W4 yet so will repeat.

Breathing, bladder and blackberries slowed my progress!

Good for you! 😄

The best advice I had about breathing was not to think about it at all, just breathe. Eventually my breathing naturally fell into something very like the suggested pattern.

If you have a stitch slow down and relax. Breathing out a vigorous “ha“ a few times does the trick usually- although I try not startle other people with this! 😀

Good decision if you're not ready! I hope I'm not going to fast because week 3 looks challenging.
