My ambition has always been to run. I asked for three things if I woke up from my surgery.. A bacon sandwich ( was not allowed salt before my o), a bottle of champagne ( not allowed to drink) and a pair of running shoes!!!

Did my first run on Wednesday and today I know it!! Going to do my second later today!!!!

Wowzer! That's amazing!

You deserve a truckload of bacon sandwiches 🍞🥓🍞 and champagne 🍾🍾, and I hope you make good use of the running shoes 👟👟 xxx

Well done. Keep up the good work, and smash this thing. You'll find running (apart from the dearth of health benefits) will become its own reward in time.

Oh wow Chili, kudos to you. Makes us mere mortals feel very humble.

But what an amazing attitude, and that alone will help you through the programme! You can do it!! Slow and steady, observe the important rest days, ask as many questions as you like, and one (or more!) of the fab folk on here will help, and keep us updated with your progress! 😀😀

Good luck on your journey! 🙌🙌
