Well, get me... I've only gone and completed C25K! Had a beautiful, enjoyable run for W9R3, and what a morning for it. Actually felt a little bit emotional at completing the full programme, well-known procrastinator that I am. To anyone out there who's wondering whether they'll be able to cope or who's struggling to keep up the momentum, just take that first or next step. If this 43-year-old smoker who's been sat on her backside for 20 years can do it, you can too... and it feels absolutely amazing.
Big admiration and love going out to all the ceaselessly optimistic, encouraging, welcoming and downright wonderful humans on this forum too - in a world of increasingly toxic social media, this place is a haven of positivity.
And of course, I couldn't have done it without Michael Johnson, a bunch of Korean rappers, and this little guy, who chased the demons in my head away on numerous occasions. Looking forward to cementing that 30-min run 3 times a week habit and hoping distance and times will improve along the way.
