I have just got back from an evening run!! Yes, I’m trying something new...again! 😂
Now, 🤔 contemplating what’s going to make me feel at my most productive, I had meant to go out for a run this morning, but I really had to get my practical head on and say no, because I needed to get a few things done to a midday deadline! So off to work I go!!
I consider a lunch time bash, but again, say no. I don’t want to have to go back and feel rushed. Good job, as it was a very productive but late finish today.
Well work over and I have a stiff body, but I get my kit on and out I go. It’s me time!! 😍 The little park is nearby and I notice that it’s starting to get dark, so I decide round and round the park will do tonight. 🤪
I did a 25 minute End of Day Run with Headspace. Well......I can say the run (though shorter than 30 mins) was the perfect end to the day! I covered 3.24k in that time and I don’t think I had much more in me today, but it was good enough. I got out there and I ran! 👌🏽I’ll sleep well tonight too!

I’m doing headspace daily.. have for ages... and first day without smokes I was on it a lot! I need to run to it, but I’m a bit worried as I tend to have my eyes closed 😂
Thank you! Oh I am Debell! It’s not without challenges, but I try to laugh at those!! If I’ve been out on a run! That’s a success for me, the rest is just entertainment!! 😂❤️
Well done!!! My work day runs are usually late evening, and I actually quite like it. It’s a positive end to the day, I can run out any stresses and general crap, bath, cup of tea, bed. And such a good nights sleep. BUT... what is headspace? Big hugs to you! xox
Headspace is a popular meditation app. There are Headspace runs to choose from in the Nike App I use. Basically, it’s a guided run that encourages you to let go of deep thinking and just run. Very good coaching, nothing weird or woo woo involved. 😂 Just gets you to get out of your head and just run with the flow. So nice! ❤️
Late runs - I do struggle with them! My body shuts down as the sun starts to fall too, so well done for getting out there. I've not tried any of the Headspace running programmes yet, but I've done a number of their packs and I subscribe. I'll have to give this a go when I am next on my own!
Well done you for being productive, and then rewarding yourself with a run at the end of the day - sounds like it rounded it off nicely! I've only done evening runs as I just don't function in the morning - I'd probably just fall over my own feet 😬
Thanks Eiralas I guess I’ve just got into a morning routine, so evening running feels a bit foreign now. But it’s good to keep changing it up a bit! Hope your run/walks are going well, minus the storms of course!! The sun has come back out!! 😁❤️
