I’m trying not to over do it!

I love to run and because I’m getting fitter I feel I want to run more but I have to have a rest. I’m worried that my leg will play up again so I do rest, reluctantly. However when doing the couch to 5k I’ve finished the exercise about half a mile before I get home, so I jog the rest of the way. On my rest days I get on my bike. But I do have at least one day complete rest which I thoroughly enjoy!

Great self-discipline - don’t feel pressured to jog home or you could undo the benefits of the walk cool-down (it’s really important) even though I understand the temptation.

I can feel some bike sessions coming on myself... I already swim so who knows if a triathlon might be possible some day 😱🤣

That sounds like your inner triathlete screaming out. Do it x

Well done. Sounds like you've got this sorted 😀. Agree with Equi-geek that walking home would be better for you - and your leg. Cycling on other days is good too. Rest days are for other exercise so as well as the cycling perhaps throw in some core and strength training which only take a few minutes and may also help your leg?
