Hello I’m on week 6 day three of C25K and I’m getting pains in my shins, I think it’s because I’m running on my heels too much, trying to force myself to land on my mid foot. Anyone else had shin pains? Any tips. Today’s is my first 25 minute run, so fingers crossed I can do it.

Take it very gently, warm up well and try to land lightly..kiss the ground with your feet... just relax... start slow and stay slow and see how you go. Stretch well after the run too !
Not saying it is shin splints but this may help?
Thank you for the advice I’ll give this a go later today on my run, I’ll let you know how I get on.
