I'm still in shock that I've actually gone and done it! I always start these things and never see them through to the end...30 day plank challenge, 30 day yoga challenge, give up chocolate for lent....etc etc!! But I've made it and I've LOVED it (well most of it!), I actually enjoy being a runner!

Really pushed myself this morning and got my fastest mins/km so far, going to push on forward and carrying on repeating this one until I manage the illustrious 5km running in 30 mins. I have been tracking my walking time too for the whole plan and today got to 5.4km in the 40 mins session, so a bit of work to do on speed now...

Thanks for all the support from you lovely people on here, I really enjoy reading your posts :)

If you want to know your running pace and distance, don't time your walks.

Keep running, keep smiling.

Thanks, I tried that this morning. Managed 4.17km in 30mins...

On my next run I'm thinking of trying to continue running until I hit the 5km mark to see how long that takes. The 30 min runs are definitely feeling slightly easier so can probably try to extend my running time by another 5-8 mins to get to the magic 5km.

It does. Especially if you know you don't normally see these things through (I identify!) 😁
