Now listen up all you W6R3 runner dudes. You are all brilliant!! You are real runners now. The next three weeks is just icing on cake and bunting preparation. You've nailed this. It's in the bag. Slow down, relax, just go out and enjoy the amazing journey you've been on. You were always winners anyway, now you've got the proof. Pats on back, trainers at the ready, enjoy the short journey to the podium xx

Ditto that - mind you with the current temperatures it's the only way forward. I love the cool of the early morning, not sure how I will feel come the winter!

I know! I’m thinking when it’s nearing 0 degrees and wet windy and dark I might feel a little differently! I’m hoping by then I’m so addicted I don’t care! 🙈

Yes, heard of a woman out running in the snow! Rain, bitterly cold wind - might retreat to a treadmill, though I find walking on one hard enough 😂. Addicted to running yes, not sure the addiction is strong enough for the winter! What a wuss I am!

I think only time will tell.... might have to invest in some warmer running gear tho!

Can you get fleece lined running gear? Actually I've got some old water resistant fleece lined jodhpurs, they might do the trick! Kept me warm on a horse, so should do well for running in 😎

I’m not sure .... will have to investigate!

I've just started W8 and W6 definitely seems to be the week that taxes a lot of people - so huge kudos to you for getting through - that fantastic feeling only gets better.

I’m literally loving it. My job can be pretty stressful at times and initially I thought running would give me a chance to mull things over and reflect a bit on stuff..... however I find myself thinking about pretty much nothing when I’m running except how nice it is being outside in the fresh air and feeling free! Much more cathartic!!! Well done on reaching week 8 graduation just round the corner for you!!!
