C25K done!! 😆 Did the Coventry Parkrun this morning with my 2 kids, finished in 45 minutes so not fast BUT after 30 minutes I kept going and only had a quick power walk when it really got tough! 9 weeks ago I couldn't run for a bus! (week 1 was an absolute killer!) I can hardly believe I've done this!!! This programme is awesome and I have learnt so much along the way. A massive thank you to anyone who has ever commented on my posts, and who has ever said any words of encouragement... Those kind words have really kept me going.. thank you all, and a special thanks to the mentors and admins for all their sound advice which has been very much appreciated! Consolidation runs now for a few weeks ..... And maybe I'll make 10k my target for my 50th next year 😁😁😁😁😁 😁😁
Done it! Graduation run at Coventry Parkrun!! - Couch to 5K
Amazing news, congratulations to all three of you 🎖🎖🎖
Well done! What a great way to graduate 🏆👏👏👏
Fantastic!! Well done you!! 🙌🎉🏃♀️💫
Congratulations! How lovely that you ran it with your kids too
Yes that was great... My son raced ahead but my daughter stayed with me shouting encouragement all the way... She didn't even break a sweat whilst I was red faced and panting haha!! 🤣
Great work on graduating! 😀🏆🎓 It’s amazing how far we can go with a lot of determination and a bit of support! You can be rightly proud of what you’ve achieved. 👍
Well done! What a way to graduate, with a Parkrun. Having your kids with you must have been a nice encouragement too. On your pic you both look incredibly calm for people who have just run 5k lol! I could hardly breathe after my first and only parkrun.
Well done, sounds like you've planned all the right things. You might find after a few weeks of running for 30 minutes that the C25K+ podcasts are helpful, I certainly found them useful. See here: nhs.uk/live-well/exercise/c...
Hope to see you before too long on Bridge to 10K
Thanks for the link Neil, I'll have a look at it! Yes, hope to see you on Bridge to 10k! 😀

This guide to post C25K running may be helpful healthunlocked.com/couchto5...
Keep running keep smiling.
Thank you, I'll have a read of that! Also thank you for all your advice along the way.... It's been very much appreciated 😀
Your guide is brilliant. Feeling somewhat cast adrift, don't know how to approach my run 2moro without C25K, but your guide is helpful - just need to make a decision 🙃. Guess I just need to get out there and do it !
Try a new route or a totally new run venue. Perhaps a beautiful new natural environment and just run for the sheer joy of being able to do it. No time, no distance or pace parameters. Run like a child.........and smile.
You will find your way forward, in time.
Yay you did it, congratulations. 🥉😀🥉👏🏃♀️🏃♀️🏃♀️
Beautiful photo! Congratulations, amazing achievement 🏃♀️🎂💃

Fantastic! Many congratulations ⭐️🎉👏🏻
Congratulations 🎉🥃🏃♀️🍹🍻🥇🏃♀️so fab with our kids joining in ✅🎉🥇
Get on,you can do it before then. I’ll be 65 in a week and I managed a 10k, out of the blue this morning when I was supposed to be doing week 2 of jujus 10k plan. I don’t expect I’ll do one every week but I much prefer the longer runs to anything under 4k now. I tried doing intervals and just couldn’t get my head round that at all.
Maybe I’ll try that again further down the line
Well done you though and I love the pic. I had an equally pink face this morning in my post run pic
Yes!! Congratulations- you’re a star!!
Very well done and how lovely that you did the run with your children . Enjoy celebrating- you’ve earned it! 😘🍾🏃🏼♀️👏🏻🥇
Well done all of you! 🏃🏻♀️👏
Well done you, and what a way to graduate. You family should be very proud of you. 🏃♀️🏃♀️🏃♂️🍾🥂🥂⛅️
Brilliant achievement, congratulations graduate!
Time to claim your shiny badge
Well done! Enjoy your moment 😊🏅🎉🏃♀️
Aw how lovely to do it with your kids I’m still trying to persuade my 8 yr old to come running!
I did my graduation at a ParkRun as well.
It did seem different being surrounded by so many people.
It felt a lot harder to be honest, maybe a bit of anxiety about running with others when I've run alone up until now .. I will keep doing parkrun though and hopefully it will get easier. . I was much more relaxed on my solo 6am jog this morning 😃
