Half way mark week 7

Tough going tonight: I was solo so no chatter to distract me, I’d been sat in a meeting since 1.30 and so my calves were like lumps of lead (my feet swell when I’m sat down all day, especially if it’s hot) and I did walk a couple of steps. It was windy too and not so warm (setting off - soon warmed up!)

But according to my Fitbit I knocked another 20s off the first km and did the 2nd and 3rd km faster than previously also. You don’t feel the improvement at all - my dead slow is obviously not as slow as it used to be. I reckon by the end of this programme I may be getting near 4K in 30mins - that’s my target 🎯

Well done. Its hard after a tough day at work.

Often the better results don't feel it till we see the stats 👍😉

Same again tonight, it felt slower as in I felt I should go faster but was actually faster!

I'm always surprised when I feel like it's a tougher run then check the stats and still an improvement on the last one. At least we're going in the right direction 💪🏃‍♀️

If I am in meetings longer than an hour, I demand tea breaks...

It is amazing how we perform, even when we think it's a bad run.
