Week 8 Run 2: In my happy place

Checked weather app at 5.30am: 27 degrees, 88% humidity.

What the hell... why not?

I'd love to say it was a walk in the park, but it was a more a very slow jog in the park. Overall though, a superb morning jaunt by the water.

I’ve come to enjoy having a breeze with the temperatures being so high. I normally really dislike the wind. Oh how running has changed us 😉

It's so lovely to be by the water in the concrete jungle lexi6 . Better to brave the heat than the weekend queues for the treadmill in the gym 😒

Hey Mumsygill I'm in Hong Kong. Subtropical climate so like this for about 9-10 months of the year. It feels like being in a sauna, but you're outside Then we get a version of 'winter'. Which is lovely. I should have started this then!

LOL you make me giggle, I'm more than happy to leave the theatrics to you. I'm just trying to get through the runs! It's a little like running underwater, especially after the first 15 mins. Ha, never thought I'd be writing that...

Thanks, Ripcurlrana71 (love your username!). This stretch of path is newly opened as the park is still being built. It's on reclaimed land, so I'm running on what used to be the harbour. I just love it down there

You are so hot Dee! Not sure I could shuffle around in that heat. Not at that time of day anyway. The bars are still closed when you finish.
