High hopes

Since graduating I've not run very much because of an old back problem resurfacing and a niggling pain in my left thigh. So I rested, started pilates and strength training over the last 3 weeks and run for about 4km last Thursday with my new running shoes too! Felt good. Hardly felt anything in my leg and my back fine. It was a hard run though because I think my stamina has dropped a bit. Got up this morning thinking it was 9am and it was actually 7.20am ! So I'm off out again in about half an hour because I've just had some fruit. High hopes it will be a good run and I'm so pleased I've beaten the heat! Happy running everyone😀
