W7R2 - Kept the pace

In the words of Billy Idol it was "hot in the city", but that was just my face on the way back from running round town. Thought I would change it up a bit and run the streets, did it but not as enjoyable, Saturday am heading back to my very straight but beautiful country lane with no cars or people!!

Legs were feeling a bit heavy but managed to keep the same pace all the way round and when seeing how long I had left I just said in my head just as well to finish the whole thing. It is no longer a battle between my head and legs, they just do it together.

The lady in the garage said I was looking really toned and my mum just said I looked like I had lost weight (haven't lost an ounce) but obviously this running malarkey is doing something 😁😁😁

well done, people keep asking if I have lost weight, I have a little bit but my body has definitely changed shape

Well done Looby, and yes, a nice quiet country lane would definitely be my choice. And well done also for getting those comments, running really does change your shape, doesn’t it! Those sort of comments really help with the motivation - especially when you think that’s after just 7 weeks of doing this “running malarkey” :)

Personally I am losing weight steadily (1-2 pounds a week since starting c25k), but I do an awful lot of other stuff besides running. But aside from that family members in particular have commented on the change of shape :)
