Hi everyone and welcome to a new warmer? running week.

Sometimes we don't feel like putting a whole post up but just want to share something small, so this is a great place for doing that during the week.

If you're a lurker it is a great place to say a little hi, without the pressure of a full post.

Wishing you all a happy , healthy and well hydrated week,

Oldfloss, Ju-ju, Realfoodieclub, Millsie-J and Bluebirdrunner x

Went for my second post grad run this morning 😊 I can’t believe how much I love it ... just slowly plodding along in the sun listening to music 🐌🏃‍♀️

Waiting to see the sports physio before I run anymore. My ankle is playing up and I want some expert advice in case I am making things worse. Hoping I can do parkrun at the weekend . Fingers crossed.

Yay. Lots of exercises to do to strengthen my ligaments and improve ankle movement. But I can carry on running 🏃‍♀️😁 back to it tomorrow

I did my first post grad run yesterday, but thru a shady wood not pavement. The run was ok, and I could even carry on running for a few secs further!! Top of ankles complaining today - could this just be terrain change? x

I ran, first time ever since heart problems, 40 steps, absolutely pathetic, but meant the world to me, & I didn't drop down dead lol

Those 40 steps will soon build up to 50....100...who knows. Well done for taking positive steps to improve the health of your heart. Nice and easy does it. It doesn't matter where you start as long as you are moving more and more. Good luck...go as slow as you need to (believe me, I do) and you will be amazed at what you achieve.

Thank you very much for the encouragement:)

Hi everyone , I am still hanging in there (W5R1) and enjoy that I have started to see familiar names and can follow people's progress

Hey guys, just completed week one trying to work out the best time for me to run, 2/3 I do either in my lunch break or when I’m commuting home from work I’m not sure what’s best... any suggestions? (My third is done when my husbands around to watch the kids x

Sorry just seen this, early is difficult with the kids and work, but I was able to do one before work this week and I really enjoyed it x

Yes!! Go you...

Just completed W6R3 this morning. Wow - amazing. Never thought I could do it - especially as I've not felt well this week and had a rubbish week at work due to a wonderful colleague who likes to put everyone's back up! Maybe that helped with the run. Came out of the gym & drove home grinning at everyone like a madwoman. Onward & upward to W7.... yikes!

Very well done you :) Slow and steady and into those longer runs..

Back on track after temporary bottom lip quiver. Freezing cold day today, but I am a runner (and I also have fleecy lined tights, fingerless gloves and a new cap.) 5km done today. Week 3 to 10k starts Monday

Hi all, have only just joined on here but about to begin week 7 of c25k today. I tried C25k last year and got stuck at week 5, this time I've managed to keep going. Definitely noticed an big improvement in fitness and my energy levels :)
