Our first race after C25K

After completing C25K a couple of weeks ago, me and my little one did our first ever 5k race yesterday :)

It wasn't my best run by far as I hadn't digested breakfast properly plus three uphill stretches were a killer, but I did it in 35 minutes. For the first time ever I cheated and walked some parts, I had never ran uphill before and it was hard! Next time I'll be sure to check the trail properly!

Anyway little man overtook me and many others to finish in 32 mins. He's 8! It's so nice to receive a medal, I must admit ;)

32 minutes 5k aged 8? That's remarkable!

I'm so proud of him! C25K did wonders for us both. I am confident that without the heat and hills we could have done even better. Thank you :)

35 minutes including walks?! You must have a good pace there! Well done to you both 💪🏽
