Oh yes! πŸ˜€

I can’t believe I just done W4R1! Boy that was hard but I did it! πŸ˜ƒ I was a bit disappointed when I found that 3x round the park is only 3K - it seems way off the 5K mark! I did do an extra lap of walking with about 3 mins running to make it 4 K but I recon that was about my limit! Is anyone else way off the 5K mark?

Fab job! You are doing just brilliantly! Don't worry about the distance, that will all come with time, promise. At the mo you are increasing the amount of time you can run for and getting to grips with all the basics. Distance will sort itself out later on as you naturally get stronger and more adept.

Almost half way there! Well done :)

Wow! Over and above.

I don't think I've ever run for longer than I was told.

I manage around 3k for each run, rarely more and often less. I'm making a point of not worrying about distance just yet though and focussing more on time and technique. I'd say that many people are in the same boat at this point in the program so don't be disheartened xx

Sounds like you’re very much on top of this, well done! I’ve run a bit extra a few times, but only when the runs have gone well.

My focus is on stamina/endurance - being able to run for a longer time, while keeping my heart rate down. Really not bothered about the distance or pace for now, in fact most of the time I am deliberately running slower than I feel I could.

My first goal is to get to the end of the programme and be able to run non-stop for 30 minutes... then to work on being able to run for however long it takes me to do a 5k... and only after that start to try to improve my pace.

At week 6 I have just got to 4K so it might get to 5K but I am not stressing it, just enjoying the run to be honest.

I wasn’t even at 4K on graduation. Don’t worry about it now. Just follow the programme and when you can run 30 mins you can build up as needed till 5k after.

I'm on wk 9 and only covering about 3.50 k.πŸ˜‹ But then again I've only measured my distance a couple of times. I'm just soooo chuffed running for 30 mins.... Convinced myself distance will increase one day. πŸ€”

Running for 30 mins sounds absolutely amazing and impossible for me! Well done you! 😊
