Decided today to adjust the treadmill to be on an incline, as I'd read that would better replicate an outside run...
...only to find that I'd had it on a 5% incline all the time! Oops!!
So tried running on the flat - and absolutely sailed through w3r3. In fact I was feeling so good at the end I just kept on running beyond the three minutes mark, eventually stopping after 6 minutes!! (my max heart rate was the lowest for any of the runs so far, so clearly wasn't pushing myself too much)
6 minutes!! Can hardly believe it. Really buzzing, can't wait to start week 4

Yeah thanks, it is a lovely view - when I decided to get a treadmill, there was only one place in the house that it was ever going to go! Tend to watch the birds and horses etc while running, to try to take my mind off the running bit
Btw My (running guy) mate told me that it’s actually better for your knees to run on a slight uphill incline, as it’s the downhill steps that put most pressure on them.
