As part of the consolidation process, having graduated 2 weeks ago, I set off for another 32 minute run on Friday late aafternoon. I think it was the heat and possibly not enough hydration because I just did not have the energy and had to fold after 20 minutes
Any tips for running in warmer weather? I'm trying again tomorrow
I’ve had the same problem as I really didn’t enjoy last week’s runs in the warmer weather. I ran one of them again yesterday and it was my best run yet. I’m so glad I did it again as was feeling a bit demotivated. I’m in Week 6 and was starting to doubt myself so I too would welcome any tips for warm weather runs. I never thought there’d be a situation where I’d prefer snow to sun!!
Having another tough & tiring week. Ran on Sunday, just 2.5k (planned, not gave up half way through!), and haven't run since. I've been out the past two nights, and both have ended up about an hour later then expected, so I'm absolutely exhausted now. I was going to run tonight, but honestly don't think I have any spare energy at all, so it might have to wait for the weekend...
