Hi,

There is a pinned post for beginners FAQ. I can't seem to successfully post a link, sorry..

Don't go to fast, there is no such thing as too slow!

Celebrate each week completed.

Finally, drink lots of water (2.5-3 litres) a day and rest properly between run days.

Good luck.

Just go with the programme its amazing. I hadnโ€™t ran in over 15 years when I was at gym on treadmill havenโ€™t ran outside since school days. Iโ€™ve exercised over the years but finished programme about 6 weeks ago now managing 10k you will be amazed how it works if you stick to it and rest days a must. Good luck and enjoy ๐Ÿ˜‰

Not sure if this link will work, but you should be able to see it on the RH sidebar next to this on a desktop screen (the mobile phone app won't show it) but this is the admin's FAQ post for beginners:

Yes you can do this - its an extremely gradual program so don't stress yourself too much over it. :) People of all ages and with different challenges have done it and so can you. Speed will come with time, if that's what you re looking for - but for now just concentrate on enjoying it and making it a habit and it will serve you well. Also you will find out very soon that this is an extremely supportive group of people with amazing admins and mentors. :) Best of luck!

I hadn't run since I was a toddler lol ..and now I'm a grandmother! I am now on week 4 and loving it. Trust the programme and trust yourself. The support on here is just amazing, we are all in the same boat and there are fantastic experts and experienced to answer your questions. One of them will be along here soon to point you in the right direction. Enjoy
