I noticed at the end of run 1 of week 8 that my lower calf muscle & my Achilles were a bit achy, so today I did pre run calf & Achilles stretches but at the end of the 28 mins when I slowed down I was hobbling a bit. I did plenty of stretches at the end too but it’s still achy and I’m currently sitting with my leg up on a coolpak. Any other suggestions as my next run is on Wednesday and I don’t want to go off track?

Sorry to hear this.
Hope it is better in time for your next run but if not I'd rather have an extra rest day rather than push it and making things worse!
