Tight calf muscle

My left calf muscle always feels tight. I do a fair bit of walking and usually after awhile I walk it off. It is there all the time while I am doing the runs and it is making it hard going towards the end.

Should I do some sort of stretching exercise before I start the run. I am pressed for time to extend the walking phase by the time I get home from work.

I am on week 6 just done run 2

Any advice would be appreciated.
