Hi, not posted for a while.

Last weekend dare I admit we ran a different route, to our local pub! Downhill on the way so was uphill on the run home. Very enjoyable.

This morning I decided to do Laura’s interval podcast and again combined it with a pop into the builders merchants to get a tube of Silicon!

Had to walk home unfortunately as my foot was all tight underneath and didn’t think it sensible to run back on it 😞

Lots of Calf stretching for me now as would like to do the podcast regularly Is it advisable to mix it in with a normal 5k run or can you just do interval training 3 days a week like the original podcast?

Here’s to healthy spring weather running 😊

Probably best not to do the intervals every run as it's quite hard going on your running body. Mix it up, maybe the intervals, then your usual 5K and finally maybe a hill programme of about 3K or a longer, slower run. Don't follow a hard session with another hard session.

Also, try rolling a golf ball under your foot or a small bottle of frozen water.
