Morning Intervals 🤤

The new me sometimes still surprises me a bit like when she decided that as I'm at a conference today (later start than work and nearer to home) that if i got up at 6pm as usual I'd have time for a quick run in daylight rather than running this evening.

The old me clung to the duvet a bit saying how she'd planned intervals today and they surely weren't a morning thing. However new me was having none of it so off I set with Laura's 1234 1234 ringing in my ears .

It was a bit of a shock to the system but the intervals distracted me from the cold and the dawning blue sky distracted me from my heaving breathing - and I felt mighty smug as I finished (though not quite sure it was 'in style as commanded by Laura).

Now downing a well earned coffee and catching up on all your running.

The new me does the same. She went to bed early last night in preparation for this morning. I was so shocked i followed her!

Nice one Deb. Getting up at 6pm is def an achievement!! 😉. But I know what you mean. It’s good to start the day now with a run especially when it is nice out.
