Just sow.. yes.. covering ice... I would err on the side of caution :)

I ran this morning on powdery snow and it was fine, but my pace was necessarily a lot slower. But there was no ice, so grip not an issue. If you feel that grip could be a problem then don’t go. It also depends on how confident you feel about your running and the environment you’re in. I was prepared to bail out at any time if it felt slippy...

There’s no point though if running in this would make you feel so nervous you may end up at best not really enjoying being out there or at worst actually falling over. No run is worth a fall.

I went out in snow last night. I just slowed down and kept off compact snow and on the fluffy bits 👍🏽 I enjoyed it actually!

This weather I find is fine..... as it’s just soft and fluffy.... however after a freeze over plus more snow it’s like running on rocks, not so good if you have dicky ankles....... and pure ice is not great unless you stick to grass.
