Wk7R3 - with my invisible backpack

You know when gravity pulls you down and you feel heavy for the whole run - well one of those days.

Did my route in reverse, which was a bit weird but then everything looks a bit different so that’s a good distraction.

But hey it’s done, the sun shone and on to week 8 😏

The great thing about running with weights.. is that when they come off you will feel so much stronger. Here's hoping the next one is without the baggage :)

I tried my run in reverse and everything was just...wrong. It made me really uncomfortable, I think I'd have been better off doing a different run altogether.

Well done you! So pleased it's all still going to plan. Onwards and upwards 👍🏃🏃🏃

Me too. I find running backwards a total disaster.

Can't do it - tried a few times on my various circuits and it was just too much "brain chatter" happening. Force of habit and familiarity of terrain is a powerful mix :)

I know what you mean. I like to have an idea of my intentions before leaving home and tend to involve an element of "tried and tested" in everything. If I suddenly decide to do something spontaneous when I'm on the road that's fine (tends to happen mostly when I am particularly enjoying myself) but I dislike the "brain chatter" that comes with not having an established plan to fall back on if I don't feel like thinking.

That said, time limitations these days have committed me to virtually the same route nearly every time I go out (pleasant but dull) and I am desperate to find viable alternatives.

I'm actually missing my "Big Hills" route - but, going to wait until week nine. :)
