Despite having a terrible nights sleep I set off feeling fairly positive and focussed on not running too fast (Michael reiterated that, bless him) and believing that 8 minutes is really no time at all ๐คฃ. Felt I could have carried on a bit which I guess means my pace is about right for now. Only need a 4 min mile for the last bit and Iโll be on target ๐ฏ. Today mind and body were in synch - a first. Off to Lichfield so my next run will be around the cathedral and I get to walk with a slow Jack Russell and a speedy Boston terrier ๐โโ๏ธ๐

There is absolutely no need for speed with this programme. Slower the better in fact! So don't worry at all about pace, distance, time or anything. Just enjoy your sessions with Michael.
I have a slow dog/fast dog scenario. It's a game innit
Thatโs my run tomorrow wk5 run 2 Iโm with Michael too, well done hope my 8 mins go just as well ๐
You will - keep your pace steady and donโt think of the time but focus on whatโs going on around you - mud, birds, cattle grids, branches everywhere ๐ you will smash it ๐
