After a few false starts I have run the Week 1 runs every other day since the 2nd of January. I finally summoned up the courage to start on Week 2. It actually went surprisingly well, I was amazed. I found that I seemed to get into a zone for the minute and a half and it was almost a surprise when Michael told me to slow down.
On the weight loss side of things I have found that if I don't have carbs after 5pm, the rest of the day I can eat normally and just have fruit if I get peckish in the evening. I have lost 8lbs since the New Year...
Anyway thank you for all the encouragement on this site. I don't post often, but I read everything..

Well done - do trust in the programme, and know that if you've completed the runs in any given week, you should be ready to move on, even if you really don't feel so!
Louise you are doing brilliantly! Well done on both the running and the weight loss.
You don't need to be nervous about the next week in C25K- the program is so well devised and our bodies amazingly adaptable (even for me, new to running in my late 50s).
Enjoy your running journey. Let us know how you get on so we can cheer for you! 😃
