Well knees settled down completed wk2 now..made sure plenty stretches after which def helped. Terrible back pain last nite had to take paracetamol so wasnt sure about run today. Thought take easy and just walk if I needed to but managed the plan. Starting wk 3 Sunday onwards and upwards...anyone any idea why back so painful...hv few stones to lose aswell but dieting too...enjoy yr weekend folks

Is it just the running that causes the back pain? The pain could be coming from your hips or hamstrings or your core might need strengthening. Keep stretching every day when muscles are warm. Try a longer warm up, say 10 minutes and consider doing pilates which is great for your back.
