Lovely surprise!

It has been raining torrentially today and I needed to cross an open school campus. So I ran! In work clothes and shoes, carrying an umbrella and a computer bag. And it was a pleasure and not difficult at all. An unexpected benefit of C25K.

Tomorrow is run day - I hope it's stopped chucking it down by the morning; I've never done a run in the rain.

Those unforeseen benefits are great when they appear! 😃

Running in the rain is really enjoyable, ( can't quite explain why, but it's to do with it being cool & refreshing, being in touch with the elements & the scent of wet foliage, not surprisingly they can be quiet runs with the world to yourself). A hat to keep the rain out of your eyes & a light waterproof jacket are a good idea - as for the rest of you, once you're wet you're wet! 😃

Ha Ha... I get pleasure from jogging up the stairs at my local Sainsburys without collapsing at the top. I get some funny looks from the people on the escalator!!! Lol
