Walk 1000 miles

So instead of beating myself up for being a useless failure, I’ve started again on W1R1 and have signed up to walk (including running) 1000 miles in 2018 at walk1000miles.co.uk

I have graduated this program once, but life got in the way, I didn’t take care of myself, and things slipped back into the old ways. It is frustrating to say the least - but I’ve completed the program once, so I know I can do it again.

What got me through last time was the support from this group - I held myself accountable to report progress at the end of each week which I plan to do again.

Thank you all for being there for me - through my good times and bad - I really appreciate your support

Go Susan! Walking is a great way to kick off your health campaign. That’s what I did. I love walking and try and walk everywhere these days. It becomes second nature, and if you do have a car, you’ll find you use it less and less. As you get fitter and lose weight you have a new-found spring in your step and then you’ll want to start going a bit quicker

Good luck!
