Ouch that hurt

2 weeks of horrible virus over Christmas meant I left my running at week 6 run 2. I just went out and did week 6 run 1 again now and ouch!!! It hurt my legs and stomach so much on the last 5 minute run uphill!!!! Eergh. I'm yet to reach any sort of euphoria during my runs but I am getting a sort of pride and determination to reach the 5km mark by my 40th...only in three months time. Anyone else struggling back after either Christmas illness or excesses?

It’s not always easy, we know that, but often there is no reason for it

I had an uncomfortable run today, and felt irritated, but I did it and that’s all that matters 🙂

Just keep plugging away 🙂. If you vary your routes it does make life more interesting
