I can still do it!

I haven't run for over two weeks - a cold and horrible cough, followed by children and grandchildren (hurray!) here for the holiday, meant I kept putting it off.

So this morning I was determined to get out. But scared. How weird was that? Scared of what, I don't really know. That I had lost all the stamina? Probably. That my joints couldn't cope? Possibly. Too cold - no it isn't.

Anyway. Enjoyed the routine of getting ready - the clothes, the hat, Pick of the Pops, out you go.

And it was SO mild. Wow. Quite breezy - but the wind was actually warm. Lovely. I had decided to only do half my run - and the easy bit at that - before the hilly bit. And it was fine. Think I have lost a bit of stamina, but I kept going, and it was lovely. Came back into the house singing and dancing (yikes) to Thriller.

Very well done!! I understand that scared feeling! I went swimming today after not going for 2 weeks but I actually swam more lengths than usual! Unless my Fitbit is lying!! 😀
