post Xmas

I haven't run since Saturday so I was worried about losing fitness. As a result I decided to run this morning - bad decision. It happened to be the morning when I looked out of the window to see snow falling in a very strong wind. I still decided to go and run round a defunct airfield and was subjected to a horizontal wind with snow. However I carried on even with running directly into the wind. I have never felt so cold or wet since I started the programme. However I persevered to the end even though it felt a lot of work . Boy did I appreciate my hot shower!

I ran this morning after seeing that the snow was fizzling out. It got really quite windy but it wasn’t cold where I was I did have a hot drink in the bath when I got home though
